December 25

Merry Christmas! This is an abstract picture because... I was sick all day today. Lame. A lovely Christmas none-the-less. I've really enjoyed spending this time with my family.

December 24

...and thus ends our family vacation. Admittedly... I took this picture during the "nothing that ever even thought about being an electronic device may be turned on" time in our flight. Don't tell... In case you were unsure, yes, that is the wing of an airplane. ;)

December 23

The day designated for California adventure turned out to be a much nicer day. I love the color contrast in this composition... and I love this ride. :)

December 22

Okay so much for the sunniness... on our day in Disneyland it rained for half of the day and we all wore ponchos. The advantage to this? Short lines my friends. :)

December 21

Welcome to sunny California! No snow here folks! Hello Christmas vacation!

December 20

This is my porcelain doll Elizabeth. I've had her for a long time... just felt like including her in my photo journal.

December 19

A second round in gingerbread house making. I am proud to say that I was on the winning team that built this house... complete with cutout windows, a swan lake, and a sun roof with a fireplace & Christmas tree inside the house. How much cooler can you get?! ;)

December 18

Life lesson #312: Do not leave an open box of candy canes in your work space... they'll start disappearing. Several hours later you'll be honestly unsure of whether it was really you who ate that many candy canes.

December 17

Don't even worry. I'm totally reading Harry Potter in Spanish. I read Spanish novels now, smart huh? haha. ;)

December 16

Here's my view from the passenger's seat on the way home from the grocery store with my mom. Just what the windshield wipers couldn't reach. I love the simple beauty that can be found everywhere in life!

December 15

This star hangs from my bedroom ceiling. Sometimes I turn it on when I go to sleep... it's really pretty. :)

December 14

I finished wrapping presents today. I love those little parts of this season. I love Christmas!

December 13

When I came home for Christmas break I found my mom had put a bird feeder right outside the kitchen window. I sat on the counter/in the sink for quite a while just watching the birds. They're so beautiful... I've never really looked at them before.

December 12

Not the best quality picture in the world... but you can still feel the fear caused by the two greatest Jedi warriors in Star Wars history! ;)

December 11

Now first we're going to play name that object! Go on... what is it?
That's right kids, it's an OVEN!! What's so special about an oven you ask? Well I'll tell you. It was the most horrendous part of my white glove clean checks today. I spent 5 hours EXTENSIVELY cleaning half of the kitchen: fridge and freezer, microwave, oven and stove. I'd better not get a fine... I did a great job. Just look at that oven! It's SHINING! :)

December 10

Well, it's over! I've taken all the exams and completed all the projects. I can't wait to get out of here!

December 9

Boring image... yeah well it was a boring day. I spent the majority of my day writing and editing an analytical essay for Spanish literature. It took FOREVER.

December 7

Today we had a picnic in December... on my apartment bedroom floor.

December 6

My family came up to visit me this weekend. Welcome to the powernap!

December 5

I was taking pictures of my toenails which I painted today and I got bored. My "bored" images turned out to be a lot more interesting.

December 4

I haven't really photoshopped any of my images more than just making them look good so far. So here's my first odd one.
Explanation: all I'm saying is... that's gonna be a lot of stamps. gulp.

December 2

The changing of a VERY smelly diaper = screaming child.
The miracle of a bottle = peace restored on the earth once more.

December 1

For Family Home Evening tonight our ward "family" built a gingerbread house... which upon completion promptly collapsed.
